Take the survey to contribute to the first ever Nighttime Culture Index
Help ADE x VibeLab shape nighttime culture |
ADE and VibeLab are teaming up on a global first: a public measure of the cultural vitality of the world's nights, launching at the ADE Pro Conference this October for 30 YEARS ADE.
Are you a part of nighttime culture in Amsterdam, Lagos, New York, São Paulo, Seoul or Sydney? Whether you live there, work there, or know its nights firsthand, we're curious to hear your input.
Take the community survey and add your voice to the first shared picture of nighttime culture in these cities. |
Survey closes 11:59 PM CET, Sunday 30 August. |

Meet the Nighttime Culture Index City Coordinators |
The Index is grounded in local knowledge. In each city, a coordinator makes sure it reflects the culture as it's actually lived: |
- Rocky van Jaaren, Amsterdam — club owner, programmer and producer, and Community Manager for the city's Night Mayor.
- Israel Ajayi, Lagos — Co-Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Black Noise, documenting electronic music and nightlife across Nigeria and Africa.
- Tara Duvivier, New York — DJ and urban planner working at the intersection of nighttime culture and city-making.
- Monique Dardenne, São Paulo — booker, curator and strategist, and co-founder of Women's Music Event.
- Daniela Solano, Seoul — researcher and writer embedded in Seoul's independent creative scenes.
- LJ White, Sydney — curator, booker and producer with over 20 years shaping the city's dance and music scenes.
